He graduated in Computer Science at HTL in Biel in 1989. He worked for 4 years as software developer in the telecommunication field.

In 1993 he co-founded Remedios, a software house specialized in OO development, that was involved in the Credit Suisse Life software innovative project.

In 1995 he co-founded Tinet, one of the first ISPs in Switzerland, being its CEO until 2001 when Tinet was sold to the NTL-Cablecom group.

In 2001 he co-founded Tinext, a web factory of which he is Chairman of the Board. He is now an independent consultant, helping - among many other things - Lifeware in its business development efforts.
